HDFC Bank provides this facility. The Virtual Credit Card of HDFC Bank is called NetSafe Card and is used for online shopping.

The PayPal Verification Procedure

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click "Get Verified" link.
3. Input your credit card details. (If you haven't already done.)
4. Click "confirm your credit card" link.[PayPal will withdraw $1.95 from this card when you click this link.]
5. Visit your credit card website and login there.
6. Find out the details of the latest transaction from transaction tab.
7. In the details of the credit card, you will find the expanded use number given by PayPal. It will look like PAYPAL *EXPUSE1234. "1234" will be your expanded use number.
8. Switch back to PayPal website and enter this number in the PayPal account verifcation box.

Your PayPal account will be verified after completing all this procedure. And then you will have all the benefits of a verified account. You can withdraw your funds from PayPal account by cheque whenever you like. To request a cheque, minimum withdrawal should be US$ 150.

If you have verified account using HDFC Virtual credit card then HDFC will not provide the PayPal Verification code in statement. To know your PayPal verification code, you will have to log in the NetSafe account.

Like HDFC Bank, ICICI bank also offers virtual credit card service. But this service is not applicable for savings account or debit cards. It is offered to credit card owners only.
