What are Visa Virtual Account and Visa Cards?

ePassporte offers its customers the choice to improve upon the ePassporte Wallet. This can be done by purchasing the ePassporte Visa Virtual Account for a fee of US$5.00.

The Visa Virtual Account is a 16 digit Visa Card number with an expiration date and a CVV2 number. With this account the user can shop online safely at Internet Merchant websites where Visa is accepted.

Sending Money

ePassporte Account holders can send money to other suitable Account Holders for just US$0.30 (ePassporte charges US$0.30 per transfer for up to 5 transfers and US$1.00 per transfer for more than 5 transfers within a 24 hour period.)

An ePassporte Personal Account holder can purchase an ePassporte Gift Account for friends or family who do not have their own ePassporte Account or who are unable to obtain one themselves. Thus making it easy to send money to anyone.

Receiving Money

ePassporte Account Holders can receive funds from other ePassporte Account Holders at no additional cost. Funds are transferred immediately and are also accessible immediately.

Withdrawing Money

An ePassporte Wallet Account holder can transfer money to his bank account in the United States for a flat fee of US$3.00 per transfer. In case the user does not reside in the United States, he can request a bank wire transfer for a fee of US$50.00.

An ePassporte Visa Virtual Account Holder with a Visa Electron Card can withdraw funds at millions of Visa and/or PLUS ATM locations worldwide for just US$2.00 per transaction.

Loading the Accounts

The facility called Text Money allows the account holder to check his balance, send and receive funds and obtain up-to-date account notifications, safely, with a simple text message.

To access this feature, the user has to log into his account and click on the "eP Money" tab under "My Account" and then click the "Text Money" Button.

The charge for the service is US$0.25 per text message. The user may have to pay an extra fee to the cellular phone service provider.

Mobile Money Manager

ePassporte offers Mobile Money Manager Application for ePassporte Account Holders with Java enabled mobile phones.

With this they can set up new ePassporte Accounts or to manage existing ones. It allows the user to transfer funds, check the balance or reload the account in real-time from anywhere in the world conveniently from the mobile phone.

To download this application, the user has to log into account and click on the "eP Mobile" tab under "My Account" and then click on the "Mobile Money" button. Standard ePassporte fees are applicable for the service.
